Niall came
to shadow us today at the Student-Led Physio Service run from the Manchester
Institute of Health and Performance (MIHP).
Niall is
gaining clinical experience in order to apply for the BSc in Physiotherapy.
He was
impressed that The University of Salford Physiotherapy department now have a
service that is run by students as part of their learning experience as they
translate theory from the classroom into practical skills with real patients.
It was Student change
over day where seven new students get the opportunity to work at the MIHP for
the next 6 weeks, under the guidance of their Physio Tutors, Dale Walker and
Ray Healy.
