The University of Salford is proud to announce that our new students-led Physiotherapy service is in full swing.

This service benefits the local community of East Manchester with an affordable Physiotherapy service that includes both assessment and treatment for musculo-skeletal injuries.

The students benefit by treating “real-life” patients where they can implement their knowledge gained at the University.

As part of their training, Physiotherapy Students will be supervised by Chartered Physiotherapists who are their Lecturers at the University of Salford.

Physio Tutors Dale Walker and Ray Healy are responsible for helping the students run the clinic under the Clinical Director Dr Lee Herrington.

Some of the feedback has included:

“Just a quick email to say thank you for all the time and effort you are putting into the MIHP sessions. It is very much appreciated. I am really enjoying them and learning lots of practical tips and the advice is great.”

“Just wanted to say thanks again for today!
I thoroughly enjoyed it and learned a lot!”

Some of the patient feedback:

“My neck and lower back feel 100% better this morning, thank you for my treatment.”
