The Student-Led
Physiotherapy Service from the University of Salford was back this week.
The clinic was packed
as we returned from a well-earned Winter break.
Seven new students from
the University of Salford undergraduate Physiotherapy programme started this
additional placement yesterday.
There is a mix of
students from both our Full-Time and Part-Time courses.
The students more
advanced in their studies also act as Clinical Educators for the less
experienced students.
The best way to learn
is to teach.
The students are all
volunteers who see the value in up-skilling themselves in a state-of-the-art
clinic at the Manchester Institute of Health and Performance.
The University of
Salford is honoured to put the “Health” into the Manchester Institute of Health
and Performance.
We do this by providing
affordable Physiotherapy, it is ONLY £10.
